Though we often don’t recognize the consequences in time, the mundaneness of life is what feels most safe, while its opposite effect is that which drives us harder towards adventure. We all choose a road.

Then, when we find ourselves in the middle of all we thought we wanted, we ask ourselves the question we should have asked at the beginning. It’s a question that, perhaps, we have no way to know the answer to, until we get there: “Is the cost more than we’re willing to pay?”
